Poetry

One of the things I’d like to do on my blog, is wander into areas I don’t often frequent. Poetry is one of them.

I’m not a poet, but I am a writer, so I’ve tried my hand at it. But I’m an old-fashioned girl, and an old-fashioned ‘poet’ : I like my poems to rhyme. I also aim for old-fashioned meters. I’ll leave you to decide if I manage either of these with any degree of success in the poems I post for your perusal.

I hope to share poems I love, poems I find interesting, unpublished poems by unpublished authors and poems that make me puzzle.

As these pages grow, I hope they’ll become a pleasant place for you to wander.
