Hi! I’m Christine Campbell and I’m a writer.
There! I stood in the middle of the circle and owned up. I am a writer: a novelist, in particular. I write contemporary fiction: strongly character-based, relationship novels…with a smidgen of romance and a generous dusting of mystery and detection.
I have learned a lot about my craft since that wonderful night when I held my first completed, printed manuscript novel in my arms. My first book-baby.
I have now completed and published twelve novels, the next one nearly ready to leave home and see the big wide world and, even more importantly, to be seen by it. It’s so exciting when your book-babies grow up and leave home. As mother of five grown-up, married children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, I know a lot about babies growing up and leaving home!

If you want to know more about me, there are a few archived posts you could check out, like this one, and this, plus various interviews other bloggers have done with me:

And here is a short video my son-in-law and my daughter made a few years ago to introduce me. It’s somewhat out of date now, but I still love it and think it gives you a flavour of who I am.
Thanks for coming by and following my blog, Christine 🙂 Love what you’ve done here!

Thank you so much, Lisa, for thinking of me and for the nomination.
As you say, it’s been a while since we shared an exchange of comments, so nice to hear from you now.
I can’t say for sure whether or not I’ll accept the challenge the award presents, but, if I can manage it I will. But I’m really chuffed you thought of me x
